PATRICK DONNELLY’s books of poetry are The Charge (Ausable Press, 2003, since 2009 part of Copper Canyon Press), a finalist for The Publishing Triangle Award for Gay Male Poetry, and Nocturnes of the Brothel of Ruin (Four Way Books, 2012), a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award. A third book, Little-Known Operas, is forthcoming in 2019. Donnelly is director of the Poetry Seminar at The Frost Place; with his spouse Stephen D. Miller, Donnelly translates classical Japanese poetry, and their translations have been awarded the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission Prize for the Translation of Japanese Literature.
